FW Murphy’s Rick Harris Promoted
to Director of Product Strategy
(Tulsa, OK – March 20, 2007) FW Murphy has announced the promotion of Rick Harris to Director, Product Strategy.
Harris, formerly a product manager, will focus on developing new business with existing oil and gas products. His work will involve building additional product strategies around current customer needs, as well as applying Murphy products into currently untapped oil and gas segments.
Harris will have three product managers working under him to sustain the products, while he will be in charge of sustaining the markets.
“It gives us an opportunity to understand and focus on new challenges in our market,” Harris said. “We will be taking our dominant position in the O&G market and find new areas where we can have more strength.”
Harris has been an employee of Murphy for 10 years.
